_ good news is he is young and will continue to mature as a hitter. Bad news is that he will continue to get pitched harder had harder(more and more sliders and breaking stuff). While I am with you on his defense....outstanding. But that is typical power hitters...its all or nothing. that is what was so amazing about Lucroy.....lots of power, and hit for average. He had a great plan everytime he got to the pate, and executed it well. He knew he was gonna see sliders and breaking balls away AND he hit them. Guess that is why he is playing pro ball!! lol _

I have no problem with Griff at the plate.... I think he is hitting something like 283 no?? he brings amazing power and the only way to work through the curve ball is to keep trying to hit it... and NO ONE is going to run on him.... I say we stay patient with him

Agreed, although he does need to cut down on his strikeouts. He is way more valuable with his defense. As long as he can hit 250 and be a great catcher that is fine with me!

Yeah, I have no problem with Griffen, you can't expect him to be Lucroy. He's going to smash the ball he's also going to strike out. His defense is great so he deserves his spot. He's the prototypical power hitter, a la Ryan Howard.

Absolutely... I REALLY DID count the fans from Houston.... got a little confusing but I counted somewhere around 120-150.....

Oh an what a rendition of "take me out to the ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.....
