Outside of 3 big plays that resulted in 230 yards of offense and 21 points the defense didn't play bad. We got an abysmal performance out of our offense which caused the defense to get worn down.

The problem has been a lack of turnovers by the D and too many turnovers by the O.

We could not get off the field on 3rd downs...a common problem for this defense the past 3 years.

Not so fast....briscoe ran a stunt which helped the LT down block and let the TE get free and get two blocks and Johnson tripped. Tech can't take all the credit on that one!

Correct, we stunted to the wrong side of the formation and allowed a McGuire type back in Dixon to get a 15 yard head start in a 100 yard race. Last time I checked we don't have Usain Bolt at FS.

We guessed wrong on that play. Out of all the times to actually bring a blitz

Just bad luck...Sometimes you eat the bar...and sometimes the bar eats you. Had we prepared for this game correctly we would have been up 14 already.

Unfortunately, our struggles on 3rd and long seem to have been around long before HUD or Willis.

Take away 3 big plays and this defense gave up 300 yards. I would say that is pretty good. Our offense struggled mightily.

Completely agree. Early in the game I think we made two tactical errors, attempting a 51 yard FG and not playing the base defense when we pinned them back.

Take away 3 out of 70 plays, not 40 plays out of 70. Three plays on the defense. Three plays on the offense. Cost us the game.

A total of 6 plays cost us a W against out most bitter rival.
