There's no way only 25k were there. I was there and there is NO WAY that's the number.

I heard 25k plus. Anything less than 35 is embarrassing. I thought there were more. My guess would have been 29-32k.
Bad loss but from a purely football perspective not the end of the world. I saw one team play lights out for 3 quarters and get a couple of breaks. My worry is how we (players & coaches) didn't seem to have a clue as to how to stop the bleeding. We will know more after ole miss and boise.
If there were 25K there, that means that if you placed everyone in the North endzone in a seat, only 2/3 of the seats would be filled.
I couldn't see the upper deck from my seat, but it looked like way more than 2/3 of the seats were filled even without the endzone folks.
For what it's worth, I thought last week's count seemed accurate.
Today's Advocate listed the attendance of the UL/LaTech game at 25,607. If it makes anyone feel better, the Advocate listed the attendance for the ULM/Idaho game in Monroe at 16,694. The attendance for the Tulane/Georgia Tech game was listed at 30,000, which Tulane probably inflated by at least 50%.

I had to ask the guy to scan my ticket again because it didn't beep the first time. The people at the gate scanning tickets DO NOT CARE! He gave me a puzzled look that changed to a look of aggravation. "Really?"
