Lucroy also broke the major league record for doubles by a catcher tonight, hitting his 48th of the season.
This makes me sick. It was a long night. But the sun will still come up in the morning so burn the film. We got ten, hopefully eleven games left to play this season. Let's move on.
We thought we were high and mighty. We show up, kick in LaTURDs teeth, just another link in the chain of a 10 plus win season. The players and coaches drank the same kool aid as us this time. No need to be hyped up, just show up. There are no guaranteed wins this season. We have to remember this pain every week and against every opponent in the belt. We are not so much better than anyone that a win is guaranteed.
I hate Tech. I hate Ruston. And I hate that up until tonight we felt they shouldn't be on the same field as us.
Hopefully we all remember this night for a long time because getting kicked in the balls for four hours is not something that I hope I have to deal with ever again.
As a fan, I won't let my delusions if grandeur and excessive pride make me think I am better than anyone again. Hopefully HUD and team feel the same way.
Dammmmmit where was that against Ole Miss?
After the season ends, Strentz, Robichaux and Adams have all been invited to play in an instructional league in Arizona. They report on Sept. 18th and it lasts for three weeks. I think there's a good chance all three will move up next year.
Tech just scored again.
