Apparently this guy from the LATR message boards has not followed us in a while--
"They're not that good. It comes down to whether or not they can stop our rushing attack. I say that because they will have more passing yards than us, but he'll throw the ball up for grabs a few times. I don't think Hudspeth is patient enough to try and pound it out on the ground."
He must have not watched the stAte game last year when all we did was pound an 8-5 bowl winning team into submission.
They are too busy on that board smelling their own farts!
Score prediction from our favorite site-Bleacher Report.
Louisiana Tech at Louisiana
When: Saturday, Sept. 6; 7 p.m. ET
Last meeting: Louisiana Tech beat Louisiana-Lafayette 24-20 in September 2004, its sixth straight win in the series. ULL's last win over the Bulldogs came in 1996.
What to watch for:
Louisiana Tech (0-1) lost 48-16 at Oklahoma in its opener, managing just 245 yards on offense while not scoring a touchdown until the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs, who started 9-1 in 2012, have lost 11 of 15 games since.
Louisiana-Lafayette (1-0) destroyed Southern 45-6 last week, getting 275 yards of total offense and four total touchdowns from quarterback Terrance Broadway along with 129 rushing yards from Elijah McGuire. The Ragin' Cajuns, last year's Sun Belt champs, have won 28 of their past 40 games.
ULL has established itself as the second-best team in its state (behind LSU), and it will reassert that position with another win over an in-state foe.
Prediction: Louisiana-Lafayette 38, Louisiana Tech 21
Louisiana - 40
ITT Tech - 24
Not sure where the picture came from but I agree they should be a basketball only school.
