We've recruited well but to say we've outrecruited them is a stretch. Regardless of how you feel about their program, they won't be running out guys who don't physically match up against ours. Its not to say we don't have the advantage in personnel at certain positions, but to say that they won't have similar athletes to us in general is just not smart.

You should know what happens when predicting records based on previous years results, shouldn't you Z? Remember us in 2011? We came off a 3 win season to win 9 the year after. This is not any type of valid reason why we should expect to beat these guys by 40.

Lastly, look at us last year. We were heavy favorites in quite a few games and never met the expectations we set forth in terms of margin of victory. We struggled to really put our foot on the opponents throat and finish games early. You may be right that we finish them by a comfortable margin but that margin will be closer to his prediction than yours.

The two positions where we have out recruited Tech and most if not all others in the CUSA/Belt, are the Offensive and Defensive lines.....everyone has skill kids and the South is hip deep in them.....now, that does not mean you just walk out and win a game. If we play to our capabilities I believe that we are 14 to 20 points better than this Tech team....if we do not we are in for a war.

This is Tech and as much as I want to beat the tar out of these snobs; they are from North Louisiana. I don't know what the phenomenon is about it, but when we play teams from the northern part of our state we don't play well. They could roll into our stadium with an offense comprised of 7 circus midgets, 3 elderly nuns, and a donkey; and the margin of victory/defeat would be 3 or less. My prediction is:

UL: 24
LaTech: 21

Apparently this guy from the LATR message boards has not followed us in a while--

He must have not watched the stAte game last year when all we did was pound an 8-5 bowl winning team into submission.
