What's "LaTech"? What's "Tech"? Are either official names of the school you think they reference. "ULM" isn't an official school name. It's a nickname. We call ourselves the "Louisiana Ragin Cajuns" and "UL". Are there any others? No. They are our preferred nicknames. "Tech", which is commonly used by your school is absolutely not unique. Why do you say it? Why don't you say "Louisiana Tech University" all of the time? You say "Tech". We say "UL". What's the problem? Are you feeling the pain it causes ULM? They think it belittles them. They belittle themselves. What's your problem with it, specifically?
