Hehehe... "Super Bowl"? That's pretty funny. At least Southern brought a good band last week. What is the mighty Tech bringing? A 4-8 team that only beat teams last year with a combined 4 and 40 record? Are you serious, Tech? Get your little powder blue asses down here and man up. You've either mouthed off about us... or avoided us... and now you ran out of ways to weasel out of a game. Get your massively over-confident asses down to Cajun Field and get ready to get manhandled!

It may be the closest thing your student body recognizes as a "bowl game"... so load up the tractors, the hay wagons, and your sister-moms... and get your single variation DNA down to Lafayette... for YOUR "Going To Get Your Asses Stomped By UL Super Bowl"!

Unlike ULL, most of Tech's student body is comprised of folks who move there for school (instead of getting sent home from LSU). Then, our alumni get the highest return on their educational investment than any public university in the state. It's a college town for most, not a career destination.

So you La tech grads have to move to Lafayette/lake Charles/ Baton Rouge/New Orleans. On the other hand most of us can get a job 30 to 40 miles from the university we received our degree from... Ruston sounds
Like a great place for a university

And la tech has almost 50% less students so I can see why the numbers are skewed to show tech grads on average make more

I'm not into arguing who has the most drunks, or the best restaurants. LaTech is a better school that ULL, and we have the data to back it up. That's not even debatable.

First, Ruston is a graveyard for retired Tech faculty that have nowhere else to go. That is massively unlike Lafayette... the most vibrant city in Louisiana. Second, UL has enrolled, on average, 75 Louisiana high school valedictorians the past 4 years. We are not "taking in" LSU failures... that's what SLU is for.

As God is my witness, a Tech engineer in BR was only willing to recruit at Tech and LSU. He was massively unhappy with the student engineers interviewed at both Tech and LSU. He jokingly told our Houston HR Manager that he might consider "ULL"... and snickered. She told him, "I graduated from UL... you probably should recruit there."

He and I went to career day at UL. He wanted to hire 5 students on the spot we talked to. We hired one. He turned out to be the best young engineer at the company. They added 4 more from UL, and told me they're massively happy they did.

So, when one of your completely moronic Tech brethren get all high and mighty about the virtues of attending Tech... it boils down to only one thing. If your kid is a derelict, and you want them to go where they have no distractions other than some country bumpkin trying to convince them bestiality is normal, send him/her to Tech.
