UL — The University of Louisiana should be able to make an appeal to the state’s Interim Emergency Board for $4.3 million to repair Fletcher Hall, according to recommendations from Board of Regents staff.

The staff report will be presented during this week’s Regents’ meetings.

The repairs are needed to mitigate water intrusion problems at Fletcher Hall, which houses architecture, design and arts programs on ULL’s campus. The funding also covers enclosures of the building’s terraces and courtyard — open areas that have compounded the intrusion issue. The building’s exterior wall systems will also be replaced.
