If I remember, we tried him out as a starter against UNO and used him a few more times that year. _
Never said that he did not pitch...I dont think he made a weekend start? Maybe a mid week?

He did make a weekend start, in fact, I believe that he made like 3-4. I remember that we tested him out as a weekend starter against UNO in New Orleans, and he pitched a complete game, after that he made a few more sunday starts leading into the conference tourny.

He threw like 50 innings and made several starts even on the weekend! He threw a complete game against UNO. He pitched quite a bit

This team has potential, but it doesn not hit well enough to hide someone like Bourque in the lineup. But this is baseball 101 stuff right? _

Van De Kerre? He hit .250 with 1 Homerun that year. Hicks as a sophomore beat him out and hit over .300 with 6 homeruns. You must not remember the team losing the last two games against A&M with Hicks (the two hitter in front of Lucroy) on the bench with a concussion after getting hit in the head.
