Spring Football Roster Questions????

Can someone tell me about the following Spring roster Transfers?

Are these guys available this year and do we know anything about them:

Kevin Ivey CB Central Michigan University
Robert Hammond LB Jackson State University
Beau Watkins K LSU

Any chance of these guys making an immediate impact on the team in 2009?

Saw them on the roster but if they are transferring from D-1 school, they have to sit out one year so likely not going to make any impact early. Robert Hammond might need the time to get bigger. He looks a little small for LB. Kevin Ivey is going to add depth at CB but who knows how good he is. I like several of our youngsters like Gillis and Bentley and Aurienne is only a junior as well.

Its been awhile, enjoyed seeing you also. Its looks like football may have an opportunity to suceed !!! The quarter backs looked good, the team looked good, I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep praying. John, do you come home every weekend?

Ruth, Griffin and Houston practice when they are not traveling with the track program. Only Houston is cleared for contact because he is a upper classman. Ruth and Griffin are not allowed any contact.

Having gone through the process Boomer, they will participate in all non-contact drills during the spring. Or at least that is how Stokley ran things. Come August after track is out of season they will compete.

Unless they are going to make an imidiate impact they will probably not see the field this year. As soon as they play in a live game the football team is charged with thier scholly if it is less than a full ride. That may have changed but thats how it was when I pplayed.
