Thread: Cajuns’ workhorse Harris now welcomes help in backfield

  1. UL Football Cajuns’ workhorse Harris now welcomes help in backfield

At first it was difficult to accept.

Here was the hotshot true freshman who hadn’t even played a college football game, and so much of the buzz was about him.

But who was he to take time away from the junior who had been there from the get-go – the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year in 2011 – and who had logged more than his fair share of yardage over the preceding two seasons?

I'm looking so forward to what Harris and McQuire are going to do this year. Harris was solid as a frosh/soph. but I could tell he was playing a notch or two higher last year. Those two are not just the best 1-2 RB punch we've ever had. but they may be the two best individual RBs we've ever had. (Stats do not tell you whose the best at a position).
