UL – Louisiana’s Lady Cajuns tennis team is taking their game and four match win streak on the road Thursday as they are set to face off against #52 Mississippi State at 11:00 a.m. The Cajuns (5-8) have turned on their game after struggling through their first eight matches.
The Lady Cajuns have excelled since head coach Tina Samara switched around the lineup.
Since switching the doubles teams both number one and number two doubles are 4-0. The number one team of Mia Gordon and Julie Mazinova along with the number two team of Angela Dangond and Milou Israel has been able to set the pace for the Cajuns by winning every match and putting the Cajuns up 1-0 right away.
On the singles side Mazinova and Marina Ruiz de Gauna are both on four match winning steaks.
Scouting the Opponents:
Mississippi State is currently ranked 52 in the nation and has an 8-3 record. The Bulldogs are a perfect 8-0 in non conference matches this season. The Bulldogs are on a three match losing streak and have not won in March.
The Cajuns will host both ULM and McNeese State Sunday, March 22 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
