Yea, it is starting to look like it wont be as bad as they are forecasting. I sat though a tropical depression before to watch a Cajun game in either the late 70s or early 80s. Then the hood on my $2 poncho cracked, so i had water dripping in my face all game. It's not me or the usualls that I was concerned about. It's the ones that are scared of rain, heat, or cold. I just hope the rain holds off so that everyone will be comfortable and enjoy the game. See you all tomorrow, rain or tornadoes
or shine
Lafayette is under a Flash Flood Watch until late Saturday evening. It was issued at 9pm tonight so maybe they are expecting rain to develop during the morning and day. They say 2 to 3 inches expected in the watch area (Lafayette parish). Just a heads up. I have no doubt that anyone on this board would ever miss this game, including myself.
It was just the people that go to tailgate and if it starts pouring down they leave because alot that go are not diehard fans like us and wouldn't sit through a thunderstorm to watch the game.
