    Brian,
Im with you on the sweep. That team in maroon this weekend played some bad baseball though. But credit to our young guys, they took advantage of just about every mistake they made, and hopefully this weekend gives us a little bit on confidence. that can go a long way

The Trojans actually went on the road to take 2/3 from an FAU team that swept two games from us at Moore Field. Some may try to equate UALR with Texas Southern ... but that is extreme exaggeration. Texas Southern is not in Arkansas-Little Rock's league ... they are in Arkansas-Pine Bluff's league.

Sometimes what a young team needs is some success ... any success. And whenever you get a conference sweep against a team that was .500 in conference play entering the weekend, that is success.

Anthony and Trahan worked with him. They had him keep his left foot on the ground when the pitcher makes his delivery. He kept picking up his foot when the pitcher released the ball. I guess it worked because he is hot at the plate. should be conference MVP this week.

Well I still have a hard time believing they could win the SWAC, but atleast we agree this was a very successful week for the Cajuns!

In addition to the worst fielding and pitching team in the nation that was maybe the worst coaching staff in the nation. What a display of character they showed trying to embarrass player after player on the field. If a head coach or pitching coach did to me what they did to their whole infield at times somebody may have been decked.

that was classless and uncalled for.
the team obviously didn't respond to any of that.

My bad. FIU is pitching very well. Middle TN is apparently doing everything well.

Yeah, someone fill me in too. I did see the fool chew out the first pitcher on the mound. I have never seen that before. He deserved all the booing just for that performance alone.

But like you I heard the crowd in the first base stands give a coach the what for but I wasn't sure that was the same coach who acted like a child a couple of innings before.

We were up in the first base stands. Both coaches constantly yelled and pointed in the players' faces in plain site. At the college level, that needs to go on inside the dugout if at all. There is a difference between being a fired up coach and being an @$$ and both of these coaches were @$$es.
