Upgrade the facilities and we will be better. We are falling behing just like in football when we didn't put any money in the program after Brain Mitchell graduated. Get with it T-Joe or just fall behind further and be lossers. It's an embaresment to be an alumni and supporter. Grow some and be proactive, this addministration is the same, just pathetic. They can't even make a decision on two terrible basketball coaches.
You are TOTALLY correct!. If we had played this weekend's two games in a prettier ball park, we surely would have won. It would have helped us hit better for sure!!
Better facilities means better players.
As Milli Vanilli once lip-synched "Blame it on the rain". Please do not attack me with "caps on" followed by exclamation marks...... it hurts.
I feel your pain... I wish we were hitting the ball better and especially with men on base. I don't really have an explanation. But, I promise you one thing... when I see a valid one... I will point it out. This past weekend had too many wrinkles to bother with.
And yes... I blame everything on the UL administration. They may not run, throw, catch and kick the ball... but if you do not believe they are operating the system that runs, throws, catches and kicks the ball better, farther, faster and more accurately... you do not understand college athletics. I believe you do understand that.
Speaking of the administration...
Two huge announcements that shouldbe coming before the end of March.
1. The future of Coach Lee/Rogers
2. The mythical entity that is the RCAF
If one comes early this week, it will extend my patience for the other (provided they make the right decision about #1... )
I have a mixed feeling about that issue. While our facility is not a , the bottom line is winning. Some say facilities bring kids, but so does winning. We are a mid major that has a better than average facility. Take a powerhouse like Miami. There facility was small and not anywhere close (imo) to what ours is until A-rod ed a ton of money into it. For a while we did one major upgrade to our field every year, but over the past 2 or 3 we havent done anyhting major. When you go into a home of a student athlete, and tell them we have made a regional for the past 10 or 15 years, that matters. They want to win, and winning brings exposure to them which in turn raises there draft status....which is what they are ALL looking for
