Actually, if we can get one more hit, then we win. We have 3 runs on one hit now, so we should be able to do it again, right? We just need to get a couple of walks, and then hit a walk-off homer. Then we go to bed happy, and come out tomorrow and win two more. How's that for optimism???
I like our chances better the way we are scoring. Wild wet pitches by FAU

Not looking good. I still see a steady rain hitting the tarp at Tigue Moore Field.
In the meantime, I am taking in a good Baylor at Texas A&M game. This game features two outstanding pitchers (Brooks Raley vs. Kendal Volz) in game one of their series. Texas A&M led Baylor 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th (on only one hit). But Kyle Colligan led off the Aggie 7th with a triple and the Aggies pushed two insurance runs home. The sophomore Raley is one of the best (if not the best) two way players in the country (.408, 0 HR, 8 SB;3-0 2.50 ERA). He also has excellent speed and is always a threat to swipe a base. He looks a lot like what Fuselier may develop into. Did I mention that Raley is also a lefty and plays the outfield? :-)
