FAU will get the win if this one is not finished. This is because they held the lead going into this inning and it was already an official game.
If they complete this game tomorrow, we can play at most one more game in the series. But that second game of the series does not need to be completed for it to be official. For it to be official, five innings must be played unless the Cajuns lead after the top of the 5th (which in this case it is also official).

any word on a re-restart time
I also believe that the hitter at the plate (Les Smith) also has a 2-0 count. It is too bad that we will lose some momentum we had in the bottom of the 9th.
Has anyone heard whether Justin will be available for work this weekend? I know that Coach Robe was targeting his return for this weekend, but had not heard an update.

Trailing 5-3 to FAU is certainly not embarrassing. But getting outhit 11-1 is. It is a minor miracle that the Cajuns have mustered three runs and are even in this game.
BTW, I doubt Florida will be ranked after this weekend. They have dropped the first two at Arkansas (getting solidly beaten) and are currently 9-6.
Brian
does anyone have word from the park, on when they may look to start the game again? What is the latest time tonight that they will restart the game tonight?

UPDATE: 7:44 p.m.: Twice-delayed Game One of Saturday's baseball doubleheader with the FAU Owls has been put under temporary suspension until 10 p.m. Saturday night. At that time, the coaches will meet again to discuss the probability of completing the game tonight. If possible, the teams will take the field to complete the game. If not possible, the teams will decide a further plan of action at that time.
