  For the second time this week, UL baseball saw steady rains wreak havoc on a game night.

On Friday night, the weather was bad enough to force the Cajuns to cancel their Sun Belt Conference home opener against Florida Atlantic at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

UL (6-7-1 overall, 1-2 Sun Belt) and the Owls (10-3, 1-2) have scheduled a doubleheader to start at 2 p.m. today, as long as Mother Nature cooperates.

Looks like we need a Friday starter. I say give the ball to Alex Fuselier and let Osbourne start the midweek games. This is a rebuilding year anyway, so you may as well get the Freshmen as much experience as possible.

The rain is pretty much cleared out right now but they don't have much time before it comes back in based on the radar trends. I think we will be lucky to get a single game complete today.

Osborne needs to be midweek or Sunday starter, and Fuselier either sat or sun starter.
