Yeah... for those of you who were talking about how great Bitterman's Saturday show is... its 8:45 and he hasn't YET begun to talk about this past week's game.

    Wow... he's GREAT!

A lot of stuff I would not have learned elsewhere, like how the coach's post season evaluation process works.

Thanks coach Robe for staying on till 9:15

i always enjoy these threads, in that the sentiments that are expressed about a/the particular show (s) ... says / tells me so much about you ( yea you) ..

i have my own o=pine about "the local shows" .. reading what "you" say about any of them ... tells me very much about "you" ... and then if i should/would concern myself with your opinion at all ..

ps. ryckman's show suxs.. (giggles) _
    I enjoy your show Bil.

Except for Thursdays. Can you ask your guest why he is such a condescending D-baG. He has that "nobody is better than us and all else is irrelevant" attitude.

    But you, you da man

I like Jay alot, I guess because when I first started listening he was who was on.

Mr B when are the Mets in town, have you checked the schedule?

    And check your pms

This is so COOL Re: Foote's show?

Does anyone remember when 1330 was all-sports? They had hosts like
"Papa" Joe Chevalier. Also, Foote got his start on a show with Jimmy Cole that I thought was
really good. 1330 was also good when they were a "Fox Sports Radio" affiliate.
When I'm traveling on the road I try to catch 1210 AM in Baton Rouge, who's a 'Fox'
station. Their national morning line-up is great, especially Steve Czaban.

I remember, towards the end they were simulcast with the BR station and were almost 100% pro LSU . . .

. . . There was no market and the format went out of business at which time KPEL quickly rushed to pick up the slack.

Papa Joe...now you're binging back some memories. Great show.

Jimmy Cole was just plain funny the way he could always get underneath Foote's skin.

The show I miss most of all from 1330 is Don Allen's show. The man has more talent in his little finger than all of the current local show hosts put together.

I really hope the game is on TV today so I can get my Don fix.
