I have found that when it comes to local sports radio shows, the best option is not to listen at all. I have been much happier since I switched years ago.

It gives you a whole different perspective on things.

Stevie P and Bitter are by far the best local guys. If you can get past Bitter's pimping of Shop Rite every 10 seconds, he makes the most salient points and he actually has an opinion, and will actually ask the UL coaches tough, but fair questions instead of kissing their a@@es, unlike most of the local hosts. Stevie P lets the callers say their peace and is never rude to them, unlike some. Jay and his sidekick are the worst that I have ever heard anywhere. The only reason I listen is to get UL info, but I can't listen too long because the "homer" perspective all the time gets real old. Also, Stevie P should call all UL sporing events. Mr. Dead Air is, well....dead air.

one thing i really like about bitter is that he has facts and stats to back up his claim, much like cowherd does. although cowherd's analogies are a bit stretched at times. foote has way too much silly personal preferences. "this team ain't good because they have ugly uniforms," or "that team has ugly players" cr#p. jay does great ul and keeps tiggers fans from having their heads explode, but he can be a jackass at times. stevie's ok, but way too much 20/20 hindsight going on. and he's always telling us he told us so. is "little scotty prather" even relevant? if i could only listen to one, it would have to be bitter, if only to hear coach robe speak for an hour a week.
