UL baseball coach Tony Robichaux called his team's thrilling 10-9 win over third-ranked LSU on Wednesday one of the top wins during his tenure with the Cajuns.
He was quick to mention, though, how little the program's first win over a top-three opponent in nine years will mean if UL cannot carry that momentum into this weekend's Sun Belt home series against Florida Atlantic.
The Cajuns (6-7-1 overall, 1-2 Sun Belt) face off with the Owls (10-3, 1-2) in the first matchup of the three-game series at 6:30 tonight. The teams are in a four-way tie for sixth place in the league standings.
