Fontenot is Mike Fontenot Sr, one of Hammer and I's co workers. He is father of Mike Fontenot Jr who plays for the Cubs and was part of the LSU national championship team in 2000. In fact, Mike Jr. has a small feature in Sports Illustrated this week. Chris Fontenot, who was a good outfielder for McNeese a couple of years back is another of his sons. Chris followed in his Dad's footsteps by playing baseball at McNeese. This is all in good fun. They are a great family.

Turb, that's got to be some kind of a record??
What a game!!! I am glad we got the W.
I hope we can use this for motivation in this weekends series. Heres to a series win this wkend!!!!
Geaux UL!
BTW, the new Box is an unbelievable stadium.
Great game Cajuns! Big win against a top ranked team. Time to concentrate on the weekend, though. The win means nothing if we don't handle business this weekend.
hmmm...should we still consider firing Robe?? haha
I was sitting on the 3rd base line (in front of the Cajuns bullpen)....that ball was a MOON SHOT! It was one of the HIGHEST hit balls I have ever seen (my LSU brother said the EXACT same thing), it hung in the air FOREVER!!! It really did not fly all that far. It WOULD have gone at least 450ft if it would not have been so high. It was a towering shot. It was clearly out of the park when hit, only question was fair or foul as you said, and about half way down the line I could tell it was going to stay fair.
