Fontenot is Mike Fontenot Sr, one of Hammer and I's co workers. He is father of Mike Fontenot Jr who plays for the Cubs and was part of the LSU national championship team in 2000. In fact, Mike Jr. has a small feature in Sports Illustrated this week. Chris Fontenot, who was a good outfielder for McNeese a couple of years back is another of his sons. Chris followed in his Dad's footsteps by playing baseball at McNeese. This is all in good fun. They are a great family.

Great game Cajuns! Big win against a top ranked team. Time to concentrate on the weekend, though. The win means nothing if we don't handle business this weekend.

I was sitting on the 3rd base line (in front of the Cajuns bullpen)....that ball was a MOON SHOT! It was one of the HIGHEST hit balls I have ever seen (my LSU brother said the EXACT same thing), it hung in the air FOREVER!!! It really did not fly all that far. It WOULD have gone at least 450ft if it would not have been so high. It was a towering shot. It was clearly out of the park when hit, only question was fair or foul as you said, and about half way down the line I could tell it was going to stay fair.

Then we sat next to each other . Dude you never talk to me lol

Just woke up with a massive hangover. One thing I must say, Charles Hannagrif is the biggest D-bag in the entire world. Great game, nice park. Had a nice time other than having to pay 3.50 for a cup of ice. Did anyone else notice all of the security last night, geeze. I'm sure glad we put it to em'

Was that you sitting with the group and one big guy behind the UL guys on the bench? Grif's shot was massive!

What causes you to have such a negative reaction to Charles Hannagrif? Is he still on with Billy Ryckman on Thursdays?

Dude get over it! If fans want Robe to be held accountable for a crappy season then that is their right to do so. And there has not been a single fan on this board who has stated Robe SHOULD BE FIRED! Accountablilty and termination are two different statements entirely.

This season is still young and we need to find more consitancy with the bats and defeat teams we should handle easily, like ASU.

Beating LSU was a great win, and it shows what potential we have has a team. But you can't win with potential.

I think we will be in a regional this year if we swing the sticks consitantly.

Go ahead and take UL vs LSU off the schedule for the next 6 years...

Also forget about LSU coming back to the Tigue...

    Great game guys!
