OMG, did the staff not look at the secondary last year and try to overfill the position with some JUCO's or quality recruits? Maybe not. Hopefully we can be like the Saints and just outscore opponents, since we are stacked in the O.

Not only 2 weeks till opener, but also remember we start off with Southern. We should be able to beat them even without all of our starters. This really means we have 3 weeks before we meet up with La Tech. I would think that if someone is 75% or less to go, then they would sit out vs Southern. The concern is Worthy with concussion issues. Sounds like Atkins will be fine, he is just limited, should be okay for LTU I would assume. They will probably sit Jones out for a while and let him heal for SU and/or LTU.

No drama here. But, secondary was undoubtedly our week spot last year. And, a lot of the same names are back there again. Hopefully, the newcomers make a significant difference.

It may not have necessarily been the players who are returning but their Defensive scheme last season. Hopefully, the Defensive secondary comes out with an entirely new scheme/method/plan whatever you want to call it. I do not think that my heart is ready for another season of that 10 yard cushion style defense.
