If the clock is ticking, it's barely ticking and the battery needs changing.

C'mon David, after an abysmal roundball season like this, it's time to speak to your subjects right after the end of the season.

If you're putting the finishing touches on your resignation speech and you want your successor to make this decision, I apologize.

I received a call from a friend this evening. This guy heard on Channel 3 news that there would be a press conference tomorrow morning to address the coaching situation for both the men's and women's basketball teams at UL. I did not watch the telecast myself, therefore I cannot confirm the details.

Mike, It's the normal end of the year press conference. Don't expect any breaking news.

There are only 2 questions on anybody's mind. If the answers to these aren't forthcoming, then why would you have a press conference? What would be the point?

I think it's just an end of the season type thing, just one last opportunity for the coaches to review the season with the media, to put some closure on the season. I do find it odd that both coaches are attending the same presser, but that may be normal for this sort of post-season thing. Considering a couple of the articles written in the DA and the fact that neither coach is returning messages, then it ought to be a pretty interesting session.

Anyone know what time it will start?
