Hattiesburg, Miss. – The Ragin' Cajuns tennis team lost another heartbreaker Friday, losing to Southern Miss 4-3. The match was decided in the third set of Yanick Mandl's match. Unfortuneatley for Mandl and the Ragin' Cajuns he came up short losing 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping the Ragin' Cajuns in the double matches.

The Ragin' Cajuns were able to split their singles’ matches with the Golden Eagles but that was not enough as they came up a point short.

Picking up wins for the Ragin' Cajuns were Piotr Banas 6-3, 6-2; Javier Pulgar 6-3, 6-2; and Arlen Domoney 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

The Ragin' Cajuns hope some home cooking will cure their ills this Sunday, when they host Southern at 2 p.m.
