_ UL basketball might have another schloarship to give.. Lamar Roberson was kicked off the team, so no one knows if he will be back next year. If he does not come back, then we will have another schloarship to offer.. _

Roberson was paying his own way.

Darrel Mitchell's younger brother, JeLani, just completed his Freshman year at Louisiana College, after sitting out 2007-08. I have followed the team this year for the first time, as I also have a Freshman son playing. JeLani had many starts and was selected to be on the conference All-Freshman Team.

Thanks for the info and I'm glad to hear he's doing well. He's obviously not quite as athletic as his older brother but a solid player nonetheless. I saw him play as a sophomore and figured he would end up playing somewhere.

My understanding is he wasn't on scholarship.
