I was just wondering the same thing. When does recruiting begin? I would assume that a decision either way would need to be made as soon as possible.

Recruiting should still be taking place. The spring signing period is right around the corner.

Javan Mitchell...a 6'10 post from st martinville but played at a prep school last year. heard he is more of a scorer than defender.

UL basketball might have another schloarship to give.. Lamar Roberson was kicked off the team, so no one knows if he will be back next year. If he does not come back, then we will have another schloarship to offer..

Thanks Clutch. I wonder if he's related to Darrel Mitchell. I know they aren't brothers, and I think Darrel's dad is still coaching at St. Martinville. Speaking of D Mitch's brother, did he get the opportunity to play some where? I saw him play when he was younger, and thought he had some potential (not close to his brother though).

Roberson was not on scholarship. At this point we are full scholarship wise with Mitchell.

From what I understand, Javon Mitchell is a cousin of Darrell Mitchell.
