This is what should happen---have no clue if it would but is something that I would suggest----Lee I think is genuinely liked by a large majority and I know that he loves the school---He also should know that he has been given EVERYTHING that a coach could want with the new practice facility and such a strong tradition----Why not ask him to resign and take a position at the University for 2 more years with a much reduced salary--non-the less he would be working toward his retirement years and give him some time to catch his breath---the problem would be in keeping his mouth shut and getting completely out of the way of the new coach and team!!!!
This is a 8 month old thread revived. Keep that in mind when replying/quoting others.
yesssssssssssssssssssssss
Absolutely.
Wow.....I started this thread at the end of last season. I don't think he should be fired now. We can't fire him midseason for APR reasons. We only have a few more months under his reign. Still don't understand how/why someone dug up almost a year old thread.
Again-----What does his staying have to do with the APR?????
No If's, and's or But's, Fire Him !
That is the nature of this business, but it seems that our A.D. doesn't want to do his job, so we need to fire him first, then get someone in here who wants athletic success. when the basketball program is brought up around town among supporters, all they do is shake their heads and say "Pitifull" . So i must ask , what in the world is the delay here? and is anyone home in the Athletic dept?
Coach should be shown the door. I wish it could happen now but understand the logistics of why it won't until the end of the year. Either way, I look forward to when we can all be enthusiastic about Cajun Basketball once again and stop worrying about how far our program has fallen.
