For the third consecutive season, the UL men's basketball team ended the season with a whimper after another first-round loss in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

This time, the eighth-seeded Cajuns lost to ninth-seeded Florida International, 71-69, on Wednesday - a team they beat by 17 on Feb. 5. It was UL's second straight first-round conference tourney loss at home to a lower-seeded team.

That's left the future of fifth-year head coach Robert Lee in question. It's also put UL director of athletics David Walker in an incredibly difficult position.
