The last time UL and Florida International played each other, the Cajuns rolled to a 90-73 win on Feb. 5 at the Cajundome.

Flash forward to tonight, and the two teams face off again in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at 7:35 in the Cajundome. This time around, though, eighth-seeded UL (10-19) meets a ninth-seeded FIU (12-19) team that will have one of the nation's top youngsters back in the lineup - freshman center Freddy Asprilla.

The former Miami signee averaged 14 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest but missed seven games at midseason due to a herniated disc. That included the loss at UL. Asprilla was still named the Sun Belt's freshman of the year and a third team all-league selection on Tuesday.
