That is a disappointment. I watch Bossier at Teurlings and thought that he had a chance to make an impact on this team.

Best of luck to Dylan, we all wish him well and are glad he gave it a shot here. Sorry things didn't work out

He was probably recruited thinking he'd come in and have a good shot to play. Probably after moving Riles to receiver and with Bates coming on strong along with Scott, he would be our #6 reciever. Don't blame him since he's only got 2 years to play.

What program is he going to go to that doesn't have competition at the WR spot? We have two seniors starting this year and a lot of talented but unproven people fighting for spots behind them for which he is one of them. No reason to think that he couldn't come in and contribute any less than them if he's willing to work for it. When he was recruited, we had even more talented guys at the position but he still wanted to come here.

I can't fault the kid if we wants to go somewhere else were he thinks he can get more playing time but you are right, there will be heavy competition anywhere he goes. He will have to fight for his spot at any school.

---I know a college transfer that came to UL in part to play with his HS teammates---part of my selling him on UL---RH "Mr Magic"---Can't blame Bossier under the circumstances that S'East will be a good landing place!!! If he goes there he reunites with his former QB!!!

SLU seems to be building one heck of a program off of transfers.

I'm betting SLU has less talent at wide reciever than we do.

Outside of our top 2 receivers, all we have is talent and not much else. Its not like he's behind the 8 ball in terms of upperclassmen ahead of him where he will be buried behind them in the depth chart eh? We've seen this too many times before. A kid leaves a big school to come here only to get buried in the depth charts here. We saw it a couple of years ago with Figaro and Johnson. Both came from schools that they chose over us and transferred for various reasons but I bet playing time was a major contributor. Both were role players at best. Granier transferred here where playing time was a major factor and he's still not guaranteed anything, especially with Peters transferring in.
