• LAST MEETINGS: Houston and Louisiana last met in 2008, when UL paid a visit to Cougar Field for a midweek game on Tuesday, March 4. Houston won the game 14-8, taking the win off of Luke Wagley and dropping the Ragin' Cajuns to 3-6 on the season.
• HOUSTON’S LAST VISIT: The Cougars swept through Lafayette in 2002 in their last trip to UL, winning by scores of 5-2, 7-3 and 9-8. Justin Gabriel, Brandt Ray and Andy Gros took the losses on the mound.
• HOME-AND-HOME: The Ragin’ Cajuns pay the Cougars back with a trip to Houston on Tuesday, March 24, for a 6:30 p.m. game.
