Last year I brought about five new people to their first game while working in Houma and now, working in Lake Charles, I will probably bring ten. I bought more season tickets than I needed and I am giving them out. I have a schedule by my desk and I am writing down the names of who will be going to each game. Some had even openly talked negatively about UL, but I have convinced them to try it once. This is fun!

No big McNeese guys. Two A&M-BR fans, one Mississippi State grad, two Alabama fans, a Grambling grad and a couple of Southern grads. I am working on a Michigan grad and a couple of Tennessee fans.

I ask them to give us one quarter and then decide if we are worth watching. Also, living outside of the Cajun bubble, I can tell you, we are called UL and I do not have to ask them to call us that. Even some A&M-BR fans who are kind of haters call us UL. Hundreds now know me as the "Ragin' Cajun". I talk about the donor dinners on my Lync status, schedule by my desk, shirts, hats, etc...

I have found in my vast oil field travels through out the South, anyone that is secure in his skin uses UL. Its those that are insecure that must oolala us..

That is why I want the ADVERTISER to be our paper until the ADVOCATE can comply to our wishes---PLEASE lets not start the paper discussion, but I had to make the obvious fact about the name and its spreading!!!

I too have UL stuff ALL over my office, everyone of my employees must do the same as me an wear red, say UL, Louisiana, etc. Only one problem, I have NO employees!

---Terri's STATE FARM office will have all the employees and us dressed in UL shirts---I will have the UL flag out and our huge Good Neighbor bear clad in the colors---Posters of the season are there for the taking--Damn, with these thoughts and seeing some of the scrimmage, I am getting really pumped!!!
