Thread: Prof Targets Legislature

    Default Prof Targets Legislature

New Poli Sci professor, Ryan Teten, started a very effective Legislative intern project in Kentucky, and wants to do the same thing here.

He was also one of the Clemson mascots...

Is there an association with being a mascot and legislation? I bet Nancy Pelosi has done a stint as San Francisco's favorite mascot "The Healthy _____" (legitimate, believe it or not). Things are starting to make sense. I wonder what political persuation Cayenne maintains. I see him passing some pretty spicy legislation.

CajunFun... liked the article on Ryan and his legislature internship concept for UL students. I also like the fact that he sees the value of athletics to the university's image. We need more people associated with our university that can maintain multiple initiatives that compliment each other... instead of seeing everything as a competing interest.

In 35 years, when Savoie retires, I hope this guy takes his place.
