Gradnigo showed some effort...I'm wondering if any of the better players are planning to jump ship next year. Coach Lee's contract doesn't get bought out, we lose our best players b/c they don't want to play for him, and the better recruits say hell no to coming to Lafayette...Things could get worse.

I'm glad I went to Legends before the game because had I been completely sober, I would have left in the first half. All I could do was laugh. The dome just had an air of negativity last night. You could just sense everyone (players and fans) was just going through the motions to get the season over with. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who was actually looking forward to going to the dome last night.

DestinCajun and maybe CajunsMike. I am to the point where I would go see a chick flick with my wife before I would go to a Cajun basketball game.

Was at a function last night and got into my car right when Robert's post game show was on.
"Well, Jay, we just didn't make any shots...." I think that's his comment after most of our games this season. Jay could just replay that line every game and Coach doesn't have
to show up for the post-game.

Score some brownie points and save them for a mistake you are bound to make in the not too distant future. It won't help, but you will have the chick flick sacrifice to point back to.

I hate to say this, but I hope we don't get a home game in the first round of the tournament. I think our chances of winning are slim and attendance will be poor. I have season tickets and I didn't go last night. I've just lost interest. I started going to basketball games with my father in 1966. This is probably the first time I feel like this........

I personally enjoy some chick flicks. Obviously that would have been better than what I saw last night. That does not mean I would not have gone to the game however given a choice as I did not know beforehand we would play so poorly. Afterall, we played fairly well in the previous game. Regarding the comment about not making shots, high school players make a much higher % of the open looks we had last night than our guys do. I believe more and more the issue is a lack of confidence than physical ability. I see better shooting in many pickup games. Whoever is coach next year needs to reinstill confidence prior to anything else.

We will have a home game as FIU lost last night. It will be on Wednesday night. I completely understand people not wanting to go as entertainment value will likely be low. However, the school must pay 10 grand in order to host this game. That means we need to sell about 2000 tickets to break even. I have my doubts we will do this. If my schedule allows, I may attend just to help with the financial effort.

We will likely play FIU. We beat them soundly earlier in the year on a rare night in which we made some shots. I thought we matched up well with them. I don't think the odds of us winning are necessarily very low or very high. I would say they are about even. Even if we win, all of us would be shocked if we won the first game in Hot Springs as we would play the No. 1 seed, likely WKU. Season will end either next Wednesday or a week from Sunday. I know most will say those 6 to 10 days can't come soon enough.

IM NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE COACHING STAFF OR PLAYERS, THERFORE I COULD CARE LESS IF THE BREAK EVEN, MAYBE THIS WILL CATCH THE ADMINISTRATIONS EYE AND THEY WILL FIRE LEE..
