    Yeah, pretty much the flights were cheaper out of New Orleans. Any time you are flying into a smaller city like Lafayette, prices tend to go up due to the fact that it is a smaller city making it less broad like New Orleans or Houston. It adds up when you are bringing close to 50 people on a team and flying commercial.

    Man just think about the Tech volleyball team's expenses!!!!!! And what about the other minor sports!!!

    Ya know, if the Cajuns did what they had to do this would have never been a tie. It did go into extra innings didn't it? Who cares where they fly from

    Game day timing aside, I don't think Nebraska players or coaches thought twice about having to fly out of New Orleans.

    Lincoln is a lot like Lafayette as far as rates and plane sizes are concern.

    It is not unusual for people from Lincoln to fly out of Omaha or even Kansas City.
