The string of five consecutive one-run games between UL and Nebraska came to an end Sunday.

A yo-yo game ended in a 5-5 tie after 10 innings due to Nebraska's travel plans. The Cornhuskers were set to fly out of New Orleans to Lincoln at 6:15 later that night - about three hours after the completion of the series finale.

"We made some mistakes that hurt us, and that's what put this game into a tie," UL coach Tony Robichaux said after only the second tie at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. "This is a loss for us, it's not a tie."
