Still 4-3 bottom 7. Freshman Les Smith opens up Cajuns half of 7th with a triple, promptly gets thrown out at the plate on a wild pitch. Next batter long fly out which would have plated Smith.

Yea you gotta know with no outs that it's almost hard to not score and even though it was a very wild pitch, you don't need to chance it. Another day of mistakes not necessarily in the field.

I would have held Smith on third and used the bat to move him... but... we're obsessing after the fact. He was safe, after all... called out incorrectly. I am not going to knock a Cajun team that chooses to be aggressive.
