Bostick the real deal

  Before Kyle Bostick signed last year with UL to finish his collegiate baseball career, he also briefly considered Georgia and Cal State Fullerton.

Bostick was sold on the Cajuns after one visit to campus. He had spent two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho, which is a junior college powerhouse.

"I just loved everything when I was here (on my visit)," said the junior second baseman. "Now that I'm here, I've really fallen in love with the atmosphere and the people."

Don't know if this is the place to bring it up but---the other day on the Moon Griffon show he is blasting our Mayor/Pres. Durel for Durel's wishing the tax had passed to build some roads-----We are in Vermilion Parish but sometimes taxes are needed---ah not the Ohdumma kind but our infrastucture is holding us back!!!!!

Abbeville is taxed out allready they just passed the hotel tax...16% is crazy.

Well it was because Bostic's saying how great Lafayette is----I agree except for a HUGE traffic problem---Lafayette needs roads!!! BTW--hell no --no new taxes in Abbeville!!!!!! l o very l !!!!!!

I like Bostick, Smith, & Keefer. I knew nothing about them until this weekend. I think they'll really help us this season. Now, some of the veterans need to "step it up", especially at the plate.
