Louisiana vs. Kentucky Game 2

LAFAYETTE-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns softball team was trailing 2-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning when inclement weather struck the Lafayette area. The rain forced a cancellation.



The Cajuns’ game with Kentucky was rained out, as was UConn’s game with San Diego State.



The final two games of the 2009 Mardi Gras Invitational will be played as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Kentucky will face UConn in game one, while the Cajuns will play San Diego State in game two.


Does this mean that we lost? Or was the game strached?

If it was cancelled then it is technically never been played, so it is not a win or a loss.

The game will not be made up and will not count in the standings at all.

I think that since the game was only in the third then it is just scratched. Not sure though

Must a scratch. I don't think they played enough for a decision. Not too sure about softball though.
