UL vs DU...

A very boring brand of basketball. I'm not a big basketball person but the teams that we had when I was a students would have destroyed this team. Poor shooting, lots of mistakes...I feel sorry for those that have watched this all year.

That is an easy question to answer...Daigle shot the ball out of his mind against lsu, that is how we stayed in that game. On nights when the three isn't falling we don't look good at all. Don't really look good when the threes are falling either.

You have to somewhat ignore the scoring due to the fact that DU runs that boring Princeton offense and takes 30 seconds to shoot ever time down the floor. That in-turn leads to less opportunity for our offense. Thus the low score against DU in both games. We did shoot 37% to their 60%, but only made 2 fewer FG's. That is obviously disappointing but DU was making layups all night due to that offense and we were chucking like usual. Against LSU, it was run-n-gun.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this listening to the game last night. How many times last night did I hear Jay say after a turnover by us and Denver inbounding......
"ANOTHER back-door pass...Lay-up...good" Of course, I don't think it would work for us. I don't know of too many back-door plays for threes.....

One thing I noticed, in the second half when we finally started to drive the ball, we would draw contact and no foul would be called. Missing shots inside really hurts. Still had a great time @ Pete's watching the game, but I have a headache this morning

Run-n-gun. Past UL & USL team type of playing. Wish we would use it more now.

Dont use top SEC team as a benchmark for greatness this year. SEC is really bad. Being the top SEC team is like being the smartest kid in a special ed class.
