Google today released a neat feature for those who like to reduce the number of emails they receive. In short, Gmail will now surface the Unsubscribe link in certain emails to the top, beside the sender’s email address. This doesn’t work for all types of email. Naturally, it only works for those that include an Unsubscribe link in the first place, but Google also notes that the feature is based on Gmail’s new default filters: this is for emails found in the Promotions, Social, or Forums tabs.
