Apple’s new ‘spaceship’ Campus 2 building was first proposed back in 2011, but building a 2.8 million square-foot collection of buildings as your new headquarters takes some time. Today, the city of Cupertino published a new aerial image of the site to show progress. As you can see from the image below, while the site’s spaceship-like ring shape is_starting to take form, anything resembling the main building is_pretty much_still absent.
