To build on the momentum of a come-from-behind win last weekend over Arkansas State, UL now heads up to the Rocky Mountains.
The Cajuns (9-16 overall, 6-8 Sun Belt) used a strong team defense and timely baskets to rally late past the Red Wolves, 54-50, on Saturday. That approach will come in handy at 8 tonight against Denver, which frustrates opponents with its slow-down pace, half-court motion offense and match-up zone defense.
UL coach Robert Lee said there are other concerns when playing against the Pioneers (11-14, 6-8) in Magness Arena.
