Uber today announced UberPool, an experimental ridesharing service that could cut costs by as much as 40 percent compared to its UberX offering. The service will start a limited beta test on August 15 in the San Francisco Bay Area and with Google employees._With UberPool, the company will attempt to match you up with another rider that’s headed in your direction.
