You're right, though...their view of us will change in the rear view mirror after they get a chance to face the killer B's (and a C, and an S, apparently) up close and personal! Once they get beat, they'll change their tune.

I'm sure I've said this at some time or another, just not sure where or how long ago, but let's reclarify things. "The NCAA" is not just a group of office workers who know nothing about the sport of which they are making decisions. The selection committees are made up of athletic directors, conference representatives and others who have athletic administration experience. They are given a large volume of information with which to make their decisions, and normally have some direct knowledge or experience of the sport in which they are making their decisions. Up front, they are not going to view the teams as a coach would, they will be a little more impartial.

_ Yes and no. Ultimately, it doesn't matter where they're ranked in the Top 25, but at the same time, I think it will matter when it comes time to pick host sites. I think if the Cajuns are in the top 10 with solid wins in the Leadoff and Judi Garman, I think they'll have a shot at being a national seed.

this is my concern as well. there is always the nagging possibility of being slighted by the selection committee when host sites are handed out-no matter what our record is. sometimes it is simply a matter of us being jobbed!

Anyone know what coach in our conference is on the selection committee? The way I understand it you have one coach from each conference on the committee.

Our former AD was on the committee and failed to figh for a bid for regionals one year.
