Hey, guys does anyone have any connections with the football staff. A truck driver that we use, has a son who is a soon to be senior. He is 5-10 runs a 4.32 40 and plays wideout. Just saw some of his film, kid is unreal. Not on scout or rivals yet, his family is from Louisiana, spoke with the dad about UL and it being an up and coming program. They seen interested, who would I send his tape too. We might be able to jump on this kid early and impress the parents, seems like the parents will make the choice.

If he has tape, get his parents or coach to send it to Troy Wingerter, Recruiting Coordinator for UL football. Ask them to also send contact information for his coach and for his parents.

ALSO; unless you have an ongoing and non-football related relationship with the kid or the parents, 'talking up' UL football to a potential recruit could be a no-no.

Leave his email address and his coach's number, UL coaches cannot return the call to a junior in HS until late April, one call during the month long evaluation period, then not again until next September. They can call his coach anytime...and email the kid as well...

The player and his parents can call the coaches at any time. The department numbers are under staff directory on the official web page for athletics at UL. They have restrictions on when they can call the player. Have the family check the NCAA Clearinghouse for graduation requirements and how to become eligible. There is more to it then the ACT and graduating early. Good luck.

Honestly, any coaching staff worth their salt should already know about this guy, assuming he is DIV 1 material.

Yea your probably right. Guess you guys can tell the kid better luck next time. I'm feeling very happy right now
