Don't know if my source is accurate but I have heard they are changing TG rules back to rules in years past. If my source is accurate you heard it here first.

That would be crazy and dangerous. I have been saying for years that they need to minimize the number of cars in the TG area which is why I park in lot C and walk. I was looking forward to that finally happening.

Remember when Lafayette Mardi Gras parades did not have barricades? Then a kid got run over by a float and killed, now we have barricades. Parades floats travel at a pretty slow speed, the driver just didn't see the kid.

I was happy about the change.....so many kids....so many drinkers. It is an accident waiting to happen. TAMU homecoming bonfire comes to mind.

Completely agree here be proactive don't wait till something happens. I understand it's an inconvenience but even though it hasn't happened doesn't take away the potential that exists.

At least two instances of kids being hit by vehicles that I am aware of.

Weird that it was never reported but when a John Deere 4-Wheeler hit someone away from tailgating in 2010 there was a 3 page thread on the topic.

My source asked to remain anonymous until anouncement is made. I'll say this I personally have not spoken to UL officials but my source has.
